An interactive spring workshop with the World Food Programme
Omved Kitchen’s very own Arthur Potts Dawson will be facilitating along with guest contributors, chefs, gardeners and global advocates for the World Food Program. During this interactive event you are invited to cook along with Arthur. You will have the opportunity to ask questions along the way.
Chef Sophie Godwin will demonstrate and talk through one of her delicious recipes that she has been cooking for the NHS Key workers during this lockdown period.
OmVed’s Head of Holistic Urban Growing, Vicky Chown will be discussing small scale and urban farming’s influence on food systems and health. She will also be showing us some seasonal herbs and vegetables that are available to us this spring, providing insight into their individual properties.
Chef Manal Al Alem will be joining us from Dubai to cook a fresh dish using ingredients from her own garden, as well as talking about her work as Chef Advocate for the United Nations World Food Programme.
Please note, we will be in touch a few days before the event with a list of ingredients, so that you can cook along with the chefs.
