Seed Saving Network
The Seed Saving Network at OmVed Gardens invites you for a day of seed swapping, seed saving, talks, music and food system rebellion.
Now in its third year, our Seed Saving Network has distributed free, organic, open-pollinated seeds to growers across the UK. We want people to grow wherever they can – in flats, allotments, window boxes, community gardens, houseboats, tower blocks – if there is space for sewing, get growing. We think that growing food and saving seed is one of the most important things we can do to promote a healthy and biodiverse planet.
Join us on September 25th to celebrate seed saving – the programme will include music, food, seed-swapping, activities for adults and children and the opportunity to contribute to a Growers Manifesto.
All day – Seed Swap – Vicky and the gang will be holding a seed swap throughout the day so don’t forget to bring your spare seeds to swap and take some new varieties.
