Dandelion flower liquor

A delicious little tipple featuring our favourite so-called “weed” the dandelion. Here’s Chef Jo with simple steps to follow for the perfect springtime cocktail.

Method:

Step 1
Pick some dandelions and remove the petals

Step 2
Put the petals into a sterilised jar along with some vodka and leave it to infuse in a dark cupboard for 1-2 weeks. Strain the mixture so you have just the liquid

Step 3
Make a sugar syrup with two parts sugar to one part water. Heat on a low heat until the sugar has dissolved

Step 4
Leave the syrup to cool and combine with the dandelion vodka infusion. Garnish with some more dandelions and enjoy, cheers!
