Create this DIY bird feeder using garden materials to give wild birds a festive feast. Food is scarce during the winter months so supplementary feeding can help birds through the hungry gap.

Step 1:
Using willow or dogwood make a circle and weave together. Use wire or string to secure. Repeat to make two wreaths.
Step 2:
Using offcuts create a brace to secure the structure. Place a slat or some bark onto the base.
Step 3:
Add a hanging coconut, homemade or shop bought. Jazz up with some ivy and hang in a tree.
