Like any digital product, this website has an impact on the environment, but accurately measuring its environmental impact is difficult due to the lack of scientific consensus on the energy consumption of digital products.
To make the results easier to understand, we have chosen to use only one tool: Website Carbon.
We are aware of others and that the results may differ. Website Carbon usually gives higher carbon estimates and we prefer to overestimate the impact than the opposite. Please note that this assessment focuses only on the front-end of the website (the part visible to visitors) and does not include the back-end of the website (where it is managed) nor the production phase.
