Join us for a Friday Live at OmVed Gardens with music by Ahana.

Once the sun has set, come and explore the tranquillity of the gardens and discover our new spaces through attentive listening: to music, to the sounds of nature, and to one another. Rooted in the theme of "listening as care", the evening offers a chance to unwind, experience the quiet magic of the gardens by night, and enjoy a shared moment of art, music, and connection.

Schedule

  • 6:30 PM – Doors open | Dry Bar open for Drinks

  • Set 1 - 7:00 - 7:30

  • Set 2 - 8:00 - 8:30

A non-alcoholic bar will be open throughout the evening, serving a range of OmVed Cordials and refreshing botanical drinks. There will be snacks available to purchase.

Come and be part of an evening where art, ecology, and sound converge in the warmth of our Barn.

With a lifelong affinity for old wisdoms, Ahana is enchanted by things unknowable. UK-born, with roots in India and Portugal, Ahana's music draws from a confluence of genres and cultural traditions. Her debut album 'Soma' is a first glimpse into this dialogue.

If the world leans clutchingly towards conclusion, through her music, Ahana seeks a counterweight, digging her heels into a deep love of mystery. Inviting you to rest with her there, in the unknown.

About OmVed Gardens:

OmVed Gardens is a garden, exhibition, events, and learning space in North London dedicated to exploring the connections between food, ecology and creativity for health and climate resilience. We are on a mission to inspire ecological awareness and action, and deepen our understanding of interconnectedness with the natural world.

As a registered Community Interest Company, all our activities prioritise social and ecological objectives. Whether collaborating with chefs, creatives, gardeners, or schools, OmVed Gardens is a hub for education, connection, and action. We aim to inspire individuals and communities to reimagine their role in building a healthier, more resilient world.

We work to increase biodiversity - of species, seeds, food systems, and participation, through regenerative gardening, seed saving, habitat creation, and ecological education. Our space serves as a living example of how urban areas can be transformed into thriving ecosystems that support both human and non-human communities.

Sign up for our monthly newsletter for tips from the garden and kitchen and hear about our upcoming activities.
