Join us in the warmth of the Barn for an engaging, accessible introduction to Ayurveda with Geeta Vara. In this interactive session, Geeta will combine practical insights and real-life applications for everyday wellbeing.
Ayurveda translates to ' the science of life' and this ancient wisdom teaches us how to live in alignment with nature.
We are all unique, and our approach to wellness should be equally personalised. This interactive workshop introduces the 5,000-year-old science of Ayurveda and explores how ancient wisdom can support modern health, immunity and longevity.

- An overview of Ayurveda and how we define health.
- Why is this ancient wisdom so relevant today (esp. post pandemic)
- Holistic and preventative health is the future of medicine
- Dis-ease to disease - how did we get here and why is digestion the epicentre of health?
- Some ways to recognise signs of dosha imbalance
- Quick tips on how to balance each dosha (diet, exercise & lifestyle)
- Create conscious health habits and self-care rituals for optimal wellness

About the speaker:

Inspired by her Indian roots, British-born Ayurvedic practitioner Geeta Vara brings ancient wisdom to modern wellbeing through her clinic, coaching, workshops, retreats and her book Ayurveda – Ancient Wisdom for Modern Wellbeing (2018). She supports clients using herbs, nutrition, lifestyle coaching, yoga and meditation, focusing on gut health, stress and conscious living.
