Join us for a bold and immersive evening of performance and conversation with award-winning drag king and theatre maker Bi-Curious George.
The evening will feature Snail Trail, a visceral, funny, and deeply human solo show exploring what it means to live in a body that feels at odds with the world around it. Blending theatre, drag, comedy, and queer ecology, the work celebrates the sticky, slimy, and “repulsive” parts of existence, inviting audiences to embrace vulnerability, pleasure, and transformation.
Part manifesto, part love letter to the outsiders, Snail Trail encourages us to slow down, reconnect with our senses, and reimagine our relationship with ourselves, each other, and the natural world.
Following the performance, stay for an intimate Q&A and conversation with the artist, offering insight into the themes of queer ecology, creative process, and the intersection of performance, identity, and nature.

About the artist:

Bi-Curious George is an award-winning drag king, theatre maker, and producer whose work centres on queer ecology. Using a dynamic mix of character comedy, drag, musical parody, and storytelling, he challenges the heteronormative lens through which we often view science and the natural world.
His performances create welcoming, joyful spaces that invite audiences of all identities to engage with ecology in accessible and exciting ways, reframing nature as something inherently queer, fluid, and inclusive.
George’s acclaimed debut solo show Queer Planet was a 5 star Edinburgh Festival hit, later transferring to London and touring across the UK. He has performed at leading venues including Southbank Centre, Soho Theatre, Nottingham Playhouse, and Hull Truck Theatre.
Alongside his performance work, George collaborates with museums, charities, and ecology centres across the UK - including Kew Gardens, Oxford Natural History Museum, and Chelsea Physic Garden - to bring queer ecology into public conversation. He also produces community-focused events, including a monthly scratch night supporting emerging artists.

About OmVed Gardens:

OmVed Gardens is a garden, exhibition, events, and learning space in North London dedicated to exploring the connections between food, ecology and creativity for health and climate resilience. We are on a mission to inspire ecological awareness and action, and deepen our understanding of interconnectedness with the natural world.
As a registered Community Interest Company, all our activities prioritise social and ecological objectives. Whether collaborating with chefs, creatives, gardeners, or schools, OmVed Gardens is a hub for education, connection, and action. We aim to inspire individuals and communities to reimagine their role in building a healthier, more resilient world.
We work to increase biodiversity - of species, seeds, food systems, and participation, through regenerative gardening, seed saving, habitat creation, and ecological education. Our space serves as a living example of how urban areas can be transformed into thriving ecosystems that support both human and non-human communities.
