Opened in May 2025, The Barn is the heart of OmVed Gardens, our main event space and the only indoor space available to hire. It’s a place to gather, share food, exchange ideas and feel held by the gardens around you.

Cosy and welcoming through the winter months, and bright, airy and full of light in summer, The Barn changes with the seasons. Large windows frame views of the surrounding gardens, offering front-row seats to birdsong, shifting light and the quiet rhythms of the natural world.

Inside, the space is generous and flexible. A lofty central hall, flooded with daylight from above, flows into the adjoining kitchen, connected by a light-filled lobby with sliding doors. Both spaces open out onto a south-facing terrace, making it easy to move between indoors and out — whether you’re hosting a long table dinner, a workshop, or an evening reception that spills into the garden.

High beam ceilings create a sense of openness, while built-in retractable blinds on all windows allow the space to adapt throughout the day.

The Barn is perfect for dinners, receptions, talks, workshops and gatherings of all kinds, with an easy indoor–outdoor flow that keeps you connected to the gardens at every moment.
