Haringey’s first Age Well Festival took place at Bruce Castle Museum and Park in Tottenham. A joyful, fun-filled day celebrating and exploring what it means to age well.
The OmVed team were there with a stand and lots of nature-inspired activities for festival goers to get involved with. Throughout the day the OmVed stand was a hive of activity with DIY herbal teas and ferment making, nutritious soup, lavender bundles and painting with natural paints made from plants.
We had lots of conversations around how gardens and green spaces can better serve the needs of older communities in North London and hope to do more in the future, so watch this space. Thanks to all the lovely folks who spoke to us and joined in the fun!
