We’re thrilled to announce Bi-Curious George as our Artist of the Month of June.
An award-winning drag king and theatre maker, George’s work blends theatre, drag, comedy, and queer ecology to reimagine how we see the natural world and ourselves within it. His bold, joyful performances challenge heteronormative narratives in science and ecology, inviting audiences to explore identity, nature, and connection through a radically inclusive lens.
We’re delighted to be hosting George in residence at OmVed Gardens this June, where he’ll be developing his work Snail Trail, leading up to a unique performance and Q&A on July 9th (tickets available here).
Snail Trail is a visceral, celebratory exploration of bodies, otherness, and joy. An invitation to embrace the messy, the slimy, and the beautifully “repulsive.” It’s a manifesto for the misfits and the overlooked, encouraging us to slow down, connect, and leave our mark on the world.
Through his work, George creates spaces that are welcoming, playful, and deeply thought-provoking, reframing nature as a queer, fluid, and liberating force that belongs to us all.
