Join us at Haringey's First AgeWell Festival

News

From eating a healthy diet, to keeping active or nurturing creativity, there's many things one can do to age well.

On September 21, Haringey is celebrating its very first AgeWell Festival, a free, joyful, fun-filled day of activity that will celebrate our older communities and explore what it means to age well. The event will take place from 12 to 5pm at Bruce Castle Park and Museum, N17 8NL, and OmVed Gardens will be present to host a variety of garden inspired activities that generate wellbeing.

From 12 to 1pm we will be fermenting and offering a nutritious one pot meal. Later in the afternoon, our gardener John will be sharing how to make fresh tea with herbs from the garden. Throughout the day you’ll also have the opportunity to paint with natural inks from avocado pits and berries.

The festival itself will include a Purple Parade, live music, and offer different zones for wellness including a zen garden. It will be a day full of nourishment, nature, and fun, so we hope to see you there!
