Step inside newly completed buildings by Piers Smerin, where elegant Douglas-fir frames and warm cedar cladding rise into striking pyramid silhouettes. Our kitchen, crowned by a flourishing roof garden, is more than a workspace – it’s a living, breathing part of the garden. Passive design, raised roofs, and oasthouse-style vents keep interiors naturally airy and comfortable.

Beyond the architecture, Paul Gazerwitz’s landscape design leads you along hillside paths through woodland, meadow, vegetable plots, ponds, and orchard – creating a “green village” alive with biodiversity.

Whether you’re drawn to innovative architecture, ecological gardening, or simply the joy of discovering hidden spaces, we look forward to welcoming you. Experience how built and natural environments can work in harmony to inspire and nourish both people and planet.

Barn Conversations: Designing with Nature

Coinciding with Open House Festival, we will be hosting a talk with architect Piers Smerin and landscape architect Paul Gazerwitz on Wednesday 17th September at OmVed Gardens. The conversation will be presented and moderated by curator and architect Gonzalo Herrero.

Join us to explore how thoughtful design can harmonise with nature, promote biodiversity, and create spaces that are both beautiful and ecologically responsible. Click below for more information and to book your spot.
