OmVed Winter Supper Club: Dry January & Veganuary Celebration

OmVed Winter Supper Club: Dry January & Veganuary Celebration
GET TICKETS

Led by Josephine Marchandise and Georgia Dowling, our first Supper Club of the year is rooted in the theme of "listening as care", celebrating thoughtful, creative low-waste cooking that responds to the land, the season, and the people it nourishes. The menu draws on wild and native ingredients grown in our permaculture garden, preserved in our kitchen, and sourced from local farmers.

Each supper is a multi-sensory journey from seed to plate, shaped by attentive listening to soil, plants, and processes, and featuring over 70 varieties of plants. This deeply conscious approach to how food is grown, prepared, and shared invites a slower, more connected way of dining. Watch this behind-the-scenes video to see how we bring hyperlocal, seasonal food to the table.

The evening will also feature a special guest, OmVed Gardens Artist of the Month Claudia Biçen, who will introduce the ideas and artwork behind The Forgotten Teachers, offering an inspiring and reflective backdrop to the dinner.

What to expect:

  • A wonderful 3 course "fine dining" vegan meal.
  • A welcome herbal concoction on arrival
  • Non-alcoholic drinks will be available for purchase throughout the evening.
  • An opportunity to meet like-minded people in a unique shared table setting
  • A colourful display by our artist of the month and evening special guest, Claudia Biçen
  • Enjoy the cozy, wintery setting of the OmVed Gardens' Barn

About the host:

The OmVed Kitchen is a place to research, learn, teach and share knowledge about sustainable culinary practices, where we transform the food harvested in the garden, connect with chefs and food experts from around the world and learn to fuel our bodies, souls and soils. The kitchen hosts food workshops, supper clubs, partnerships with organisations like the World Food Programme & Chefs Manifesto and a yearly Fermentation Celebration. The kitchen is led by Josephine Marchandise & Georgia Dowling.

About OmVed Gardens:

OmVed Gardens is a garden, exhibition, events, and learning space in North London dedicated to exploring the connections between food, ecology and creativity for health and climate resilience. We are on a mission to inspire ecological awareness and action, and deepen our understanding of interconnectedness with the natural world.

As a registered Community Interest Company, all our activities prioritise social and ecological objectives. Whether collaborating with chefs, creatives, gardeners, or schools, OmVed Gardens is a hub for education, connection, and action. We aim to inspire individuals and communities to reimagine their role in building a healthier, more resilient world.

We work to increase biodiversity - of species, seeds, food systems, and participation, through regenerative gardening, seed saving, habitat creation, and ecological education. Our space serves as a living example of how urban areas can be transformed into thriving ecosystems that support both human and non-human communities.
