Join us for a special Friday Live show at OmVed Gardens with music by kora maestro Kadialy Kayoute.

The kora is a West African stringed instrument typically featuring 21 strings that has the most mesmerising and calming sound. We hope to have this show in the amphitheatre (weather allowing) that will mingle with the evening birdsong. A special evening to celebrate the longest days of the year!

As the summer sun sets, come and explore the tranquillity of the gardens and d through attentive listening: to music, to the sounds of nature, and to one another. Rooted in the theme of "listening as care", the evening offers a chance to unwind, experience the quiet magic of the gardens by night, and enjoy a shared moment of art, music, and connection.

Weather allowing, we will have this event outdoors in our amphitheatre. You will be seated on grass, please bring your own blankets or mats if you would like and dress warm as the evenings can have a little chill in the air.

Schedule

  • 6:30 PM – Doors open

  • 7:00 - 7:30PM - Set 1

  • 7:30PM - 8:00PM - Break

  • 8:00PM - 8:30PM - Set 2

A bar will be open throughout the evening, serving a range of OmVed Cordials and refreshing non alcholic drinks. There will be snacks (flavoured marrowfat peas) available to purchase.

Come and be part of an evening where art, ecology, and sound converge.
